SETsquared's Summer 2013 Newsletter

Even the very best business ideas need nurturing, support and expertise in order to become a profitable business. The likes of Microsoft and Apple didn’t become successful overnight. With most companies you rarely hear about the months and years of hard work behind the scenes.
This is where SETsquared come in.  Over the last 10 years, through our five business incubators, SETsquared have helped nurture the very best technology companies in the South of England from early stage start-ups to global organisations in some cases.  In testament to this, we have just been ranked as the top business incubator in Europe by the University Business Incubator Index
In this newsletter, you can find out about our plans to celebrate the last 10 successful years alongside some fantastic examples of the achievements of the companies and entrepreneurs that we support.

Accelerating Growth Showcase event
27th November 2013

celebrating 10 successful years

SETsquared will be hosting a one-off celebratory event on 27th November at Church House Conference Centre, Westminster. This event will incorporate our annual Investment Showcase, at which our hottest up and coming companies will pitch to seek investment, as well as an exhibition of our star alumni companies who have grown in successful global organisations, some student companies as well as very early-stage emerging technologies which are set to be the next big thing.

We'll also be hosting an expert panel who will debate: "what support should be in place to ensure our tech start-up community become the giants of the future?"

SETsquared ranked as the top business incubator in europe

SETsquared, which has helped businesses secure £34m in investment this year alone, is one of the best in Europe at incubating businesses a survey has revealed.

The University Business Incubator (UBI) Index has listed the SETsquared Incubators as the best in Europe, alongside jointly-placed NDRC LaunchPad in the Republic of Ireland. The ranking puts SETsquared fourth in the world, with the only other higher ranking counterparts hailing from the US.
