The big problem people having selling things is that they don't spend enough time proving the value of what they're selling and they give up at the first sign of adversity.

Spreadsheets are your BFF

This is an example of a potential sponsor list spreadsheet that I use all the time and that I mentioned on the webinar. I hated spreadsheets a few years ago, but I think that was because I was using them for projects that sucked!

Does that intimidate you? It shouldn't. That spreadsheet takes minutes to create and is worth its weight in gold once you start using it correctly. I go into great detail about the power of this spreadsheet in Lesson Two of my course.

In Lesson Five I talk about The Secret Art of the Follow Up Email, which coincidentally, is exactly what this email is (so meta right?).

The Inc5000 list is a hidden gem!

Have you ever seen (or heard of) the Inc5000 list before? I like to think of it as a rolodex that Inc Magazine made just for people searching for potential sponsors.

The cool thing about the Inc5000 list is that these are rapidly growing companies, meaning most of them do marketing and spend money. You can sort this list by industry and by location (two very powerful items!). I walk you through how to use this list to your advantage in Lesson Seven of the course.

Emails used to make me sweaty...

What about writing emails? Are you unsure where to start? How to not come off like a sleaze-ball salesman? I've spent years paying attention to subject lines, tone, keywords, and email formats that really work.
