To sign-up for Festival Dancing, send an email to the email address below no earlier than Wednesday, October 1st! First come basis. Specify in the email if you are a troupe or soloist and whether you would be interested in dancing to live music. Festival dance schedule will be posted on the website.

While the guidelines for posting in this group are in the "About" tab, for your convenience they are printed below for all to read.
This Facebook Group was created primarily for posting and discussing SF/BA MECDA events and issues as well as news about SF Bay Area events, etc., that would be of interest to SF/BA MECDA members and supporters. There is no longer an Association called SF/BA MECDA, but the Officers are continuing the work of the group. The Facebook page will remain in operation under this name until such time as the group decides on a new name. When posting to this Facebook group, please keep in mind the following guidelines. Group membership can and will be denied or removed for individuals who do not follow these guidelines.
Acceptable: Belly dance related events and issues, notices of belly dance and Middle Eastern culture workshops, conferences, tours and other one-time events, for example, film showings. Also first meetings of regular class series.
Unacceptable: Advertisements (dance related or not) for goods and/or services for sale.
