Dear JvR Client,
We are very excited to announce that the new SA norms for the Career Value Scales (CVS) are ready to be implemented.
For the most part there were only slight differences between the new South African norms and the US norms on the CVS. In most cases the South African norms will mean that candidates who score in the lower to mid ranges might obtain a lower Sten score compared to the US norms. It will be a maximum of one Sten score lower. For the Independence scale however, candidates in all score ranges will now obtain slightly higher Sten scores (also a maximum of one Sten score difference). This is in line with our knowledge of Values Scales where South African samples tend to rate themselves higher than international samples.
We anticipate the move to new norms middle October.
Could you please let us know by way of response to firstname.lastname@example.org whether you are:
- A. Ready for the new move, or
- B. If any of your projects will run beyond middle October.
Please respond to this email by the 5th October to allow us to plan the launch accordingly?
Your co-operation and assistance are much appreciated.
