Well we're happy to be playing the music you love... because we love it too! Kati Harrison often says how lucky she is that she gets to play her favorites, and share them with you. How many times have you played a favorite piece for a friend or family member? It's just like that for us!

She and Jonathan Palevsky attended a BSO concert recently and heard from many fans of WBJC. It was so very uplifting for them! Radio is, by its very nature, a one-way communication... we communicate and you listen. But here at WBJC, that's not quite true... Over and over again, you tell us that you value classical music on WBJC by supporting us and what we do. We couldn't do any of this, without you. Thank you!

Lyric Opera of Chicago has ended and WBJC's Operafest continues the tradition of Saturday afternoon opera with Los Angeles Opera's performance of The Two Foscari on July 20th at 1:00pm.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra presents Gershwin’s Greatest Hits, Thursday, July 25th, 8 p.m. at Strathmore Hall in North Bethesda and Friday, July 26, 7:30 p.m. at the Meyerhoff in Baltimore. 
George Gershwin's fascinating rhythms will fill the concert hall as all of your favorite tunes take their turn on the stage. From the jazz-filled melodies of Rhapsody in Blue to the timeless sounds of An American in Paris, relax into summer with this program of classic Americana.
