Leaking pipe in process tank
of scrubber system
Acidic medium caused the crack and the leakage of the flange  of the process tank that is a part of the scrubber system. The vehicle carrier needed a fast and long-term repair solution without any setbacks or delays during its usual operations in Civitavecchia port. To reinstate watertightness, this time COMPA Repairs team applied the patch from the inside of a damaged part and finished the repair within only 6 hours.

Cracks on double bottom HFO tanks
COMPA technical team performed another repair on board Ro-Ro/Container carrier. Two cracks of about 30 cm in length were repaired on the double bottom plating just above HFO tank. Applied composite patch successfully stopped leakage and ensured tightness within only 4 hours. This quick repair enabled the crew to load containers and depart from the port according to the schedule.
