Happy Holidays from SHC!
Find out about our newest participating rescues/shelters
Plus find out how to support Second Hope Circle this holiday season!
No matter what holiday you celebrate I hope that you're able to spend time with family, friends and of course your pets! Second Hope Circle would like to wish you the very best of everything because you deserve it! Your support in SHC's endeavors is so unbelievably appreciated - so thank you! Check out our website
for a special surprise! :)
Several adoptions happened this past month, we wish Suess, Printemps, Hiver, Noel, Mirra and Scruffy a wonderful life in their new forever homes! Adoptions are my favourite part of Second Hope Circle's mission! You can also read about three new organizations that joined SHC below!
Remember to keep pets safe this holiday season. There are so many wonderfully enticing things to get into, new people coming over, doors opening and closing and so many yummy smells and foods! Check out this article on some things to keep in mind to keep your pet safe: http://www.stodels.com/index.php/keep-your-pet-safe-at-christmas
. I also recommend that you know the hours of your veterinarian and an after hours emergency clinic just in case. Please also be aware of websites where you can advertise lost and found pets, with so many doors opening/closing pets often get lost this time of year. The website www.helpinglostpets.com
is a good place to start.
As always if you need/want information about adopting, fostering, financial aid or donating within Ontario please feel free to send us an email! We will try and direct you to the resources that can help. With over 350 animal organizations in Ontario there are a lot to choose from! I have also started a Second Hope Circle group on Facebook, which is geared towards collaboration between members. Courtesy posting is allowed if approval is given by SHC. Check it out!

I wonder what org is going to be lucky number 30? If you are interested in seeing a list of all SHC's participating rescues and shelters please go to our useful links page

Help SHC for the Holidays!
With Christmas and holiday shopping well under way it's hard to believe the big day is so close! While you may have already completed your shopping and donations for the season I encourage you to consider a donation to Second Hope Circle. We are a new initiative and would love your support! Your donations go towards SHC becoming a nonprofit organization and the SHC Emergency Fund, which helps participating shelters and rescues with emergency situations. So far 5 pets have been helped through the SHC fund - this fund has saved lives! Below is a list of a couple of easy ways to help SHC both financially and through word of mouth!
