For Hunstville Animal Shelter

Action Alert: 

     The Hunstville Animal Shelter will be closing it's doors in September due to lack of funding. All animals (5 dogs and 77 cats) will be adopted out into loving homes or moved to other no-kill animals groups. They are currently looking for adoptive homes and donations to cover costs until they close. Please consider showing your support to this northern animal shelter!

How to Help:

     If you are interested in helping the Shelter at this time they are currently looking for volunteers, adoptive homes and donations.
Please call 1-705-789-9709 or email paws@huntsvillepets.ca if you would like more information. They are also holding a bottle drive from now until September.

       Action alerts are sent out when I find out about an emergency that has occurred at any animal organization in Ontario, whether they are participating with SHC or not. If you know of an emergency that you think requires an action alert please send an email to info@secondhopecircle.org and we will get on it as soon as possible! Please feel free to offer help to organizations facing situations like this, they can always use support! I also encourage you to share these alerts with friends!
