For KW Humane Society

Blanets and Towels Needed! 

Action Alert: 

     The Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society is in need of towels and blankets after a chemical explosion occured at the shelter Saturday morning. Luckily no people or animals were injured but their phone lines have been down this weekend and their laundry facilities are not working. Donations of towels and blankets would be greatly appreciated until they have their laundry back up and working.

How to Help:

     Towel and blanket donations can be dropped off at the shelter (250 Riverbend Drive, Kitchener, Ontario N2B 2E9). 

     Phone lines have just been reconnected so for more information call (519) 745-5615 or message via Facebook. 

        To help out financially please check out the KW donation page. 



       Action alerts are sent out when I find out about an emergency that has occurred at any animal organization in Ontario, whether they are participating with SHC or not. If you know of an emergency that you think requires an action alert please send an email to info@secondhopecircle.org and we will get on it as soon as possible! Please feel free to offer help to organizations facing situations like this, they can always use support! I also encourage you to share these alerts with friends!
