ECB DBS Update Service
The DBS update service is a process whereby if you currently hold an online ECB DBS check, then each year you will receive an email which asks you if you wish to remain DBS checked. If you still wish to keep your DBS and have not changed any of your details, i.e. moved house, got married etc, then the email can be ignored and the DBS will be checked annually and remain in the process. The only way to stop the DBS update is to ‘opt out’ and you need to reply to the email within 7 days in order for this to happen. If the previous DBS completed was done on paper, you will need to renew online to get into the system. Please speak to your Club Welfare Officer for more information.
