Coming Soon to Spinelli's Law Library Reference Shelf

An Oral History of Law Librarianship

We are pleased to announce a major addition to Spinelli’s Law Library Reference Shelf, An Oral History of Law Librarianship. The initial release is scheduled for March 2013.

An Oral History of Law Librarianship is a series of interviews with active and retired librarians and other individuals related to the law library profession conducted by Patrick Kehoe, former AALL President, Michelle Wu, Director of the Law Library Georgetown University and Frank Houdek, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Southern Illinois University.

The interviews showcase the librarianship profession; many include personal stories about the profession, along with reminiscences about colleagues who are no longer with us. The first release will include the following: Rhea Ballard-Thrower, Leah Chanin, Penny Hazelton, Kate Martin, Sarah Mauldin, Judy Meadows, and Kay Todd. New video interviews will be added each month!
