Robert Spadoni named Armington Professor

Robert Spadoni, associate professor in the Department of English, has been named the Armington Professor for 2017-19. A specialist in film studies, Spadoni was the subject of a recent profile in art/sci magazine. Read more.

Grammy Foundation grant awarded to study parent-child musical relationships
|
|
Lisa Koops, associate professor in the Department of Music and a specialist in music education, will be studying parent-child musical activities, such as singing together in the car, thanks to a grant from the Grammy Foundation. She will document eight Cleveland-area families to see how their musical practices, beliefs and perceptions influence the early development of their children. Read more.

Tulibona Namulemo
|
|
Tulibona “Tuli” Namulemo found her passion for nutrition early in her college career. A member of the Student Dietetic Association, she taught nutrition to high school students for her senior capstone project. Now a graduate, Tuli is channeling that passion to work as a dietitian and personal trainer. Read more.

The Spring/Summer 2017 issue of art/sci magazine is now available online! The issue highlights the recently enhanced partnership between the college’s art history department and the Cleveland Museum of Art; breakthroughs in photochemistry by Associate Professor Carlos Crespo-Hernández; historian Jonathan Sadowsky’s exploration of a medical controversy; and ideas to promote dancer wellness by recent graduate Christina Coppel.
