Update from the President

As I step into the position as President of ALCAS I look forward to continuing the great work that David Baggs has initiated and continued over the last two years.

With AusLCI now fleshed out with the shadow database, we will continue to encourage Australian stakeholders to add their processes, creating an ever-higher quality LCA resource for our region. We also encourage all LCA practitioners to use this as the default for their generic Australian database needs. Having a linked unit process database allows you to quickly implement changes to key processes, while remaining an overall integrity of structure, completeness and quality.
ALCAS would love to hear about your success stories, as well as receive your feedback on how we can improve AusLCI even further. I’m always open to suggestions, so feel free to contact me.
