We have been thrilled with the reviews of Celts at the National Museum of Scotland – from both visitors and the press. Our design of this major new exhibition, organised in partnership with the British Museum, unravels the complex story
of the Celts through the extraordinary art objects they made and used.

Over 300 objects, many of them international loans, take visitors on a fascinating journey over 2,500 years. Designing for so many loans means that we are working often only from photographs and measurements and it’s not until the couriers arrive on site that we come face-to-face with these amazing treasures from our past. Our faves: the massive silver Gundestrup Cauldron from Denmark, Deo Artio, the bear goddess, from Switzerland and the amazing Iron Age replica chariot, based on a find on our own doorstep at Newbridge, Edinburgh.

Discover your own favourites at the Celts until 25 September 2016.
