Working Groups
A part of the AREA network is our Working Groups, where our members meet and share experience, discuss different topics, invite different guests for open meetings and more.
At this Open Meeting we will revisit the topic of Working Groups for our new followers and one of our working groups will join the meeting to tell about their activities.
Drama War Project and Ukraine
AREA-members in some 7 countries are joining the Drama War Project. The Jam Factory from Lviv asked two emerging Ukrainian playwrights, to write about their lives and thoughts about the war. In the open meeting we hear about the work and discuss how we can translate it and organise ‘performative readings’ in our countries. How to reach our audiences and the Ukrainian refugees in our villages and towns.
AREA contacted the organization Artists at Risk. We will share our contact with them about residencies. The Alma Löv Museum, on the Swedish countryside, have invited the Ukrainian artist Vitalina Maslova. We hear about her residency. We will talk about what possibilities to cooperate with Artist at Risk.
