New "Registered Home" Program
Through a recent grant from The Columbus Foundation, OBCI is working with its partners at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center to expand Lights Out Columbus. There are now even more opportunities for the public to be involved with Lights Out Columbus!

A new Lights Out Columbus Registered Home Program will help to raise public awareness about the dangers of window collisions at residential buildings. The program will educate homeowners about steps they can take to reduce the risk of window collisions at their home, and, after pledging to take these steps at their home, allow them to enroll as a "Lights Out Columbus Registered Home". The program is free, and participants will receive a free window decal to help show their support to their neighbors! For more information, please visit
