Fight Gone Bad is a fundraiser workout. Just like the past few years, CrossFit Los Altos is supporting U.S. Pain Foundation. This organization is very important to my family and me. As many of you know, my wife Nicole lives with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Having been fortunate to have access to all types of therapies, Nicole has been strong and well for many years. Sadly, this is not the case for the majority of people living with chronic pain and rare conditions.

While CrossFit Los Altos would love everyone to make attempts to raise funds, there will be no fundraising minimum to participate.  However, those who

DONATE OR RAISE $50 AND RECEIVE A CROSSFIT LOS ALTOS FGB T-SHIRT

Like last year, we have teamed with FirstGiving to make it easier for friends who may want to donate in support of your efforts. When you register for FGB, FirstGiving will quickly help you set up a personal page that you can share with family and friends to spread awareness about U.S. Pain Foundation and Fight Gone Bad.
Our goal this year is to raise $15,000.

The funds raised this year through FGB will go to expanding their veteran and pediatric programs, in particular their 2016 INvisible Project editions for Pediatrics and Their Caregivers and Veterans. The INvisible Project creates chronic pain awareness through photographs and stories. It shares real photos of people living with pain to provide hope and better understanding. By making visible what has been largely ignored, inadequately treated, and under-funded, those living with pain finally receive recognition and validation of their experiences.

The day will begin at 7:30am. Depending upon the amount of athletes we have will determine the length of the event. We will have ten athletes complete the workout simultaneously. Heats will start about every 30 minutes.

We invite you all to come early and stay until the end to cheer on your fellow friends. We will also have delicious food and drinks after the last heat. This is going to be a fun event and I am looking forward to seeing you October 24th!
