Changes to simple extensions


The University has made changes to simple extensions, and how you apply for them.
  • You can now apply for a simple extension for non-assignment tasks (for example, a quiz) for up to 5 calendar days through your unit coordinator.
  • For assignment tasks (for example, an essay) you can apply for a simple extension for up to 5 calendar days through the special considerations portal. You will need to include a student declaration with your application.

Join the Student Appeals Panel

 
The University is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for student members of the 2023 Student Appeals Panel. EOIs close Friday 30 September 2022.

The role of the Student Appeals Panel is to provide a student member to sit on the Student Appeals Body (SAB) at hearings. SABs hear University-level appeals against academic decisions, providing an opportunity for students to participate in deciding the appeal outcomes of fellow students.
