Professor Jakelin Troy shared a lesson on how to acknowledge country in Gadi language, to mark the United Nations' International Day of Indigenous Peoples on Monday 9 August.

Nominations now open

Nominations for student elections to Academic Board, Faculty Board, University School Board, and Faculty and University School, will open on Monday 9 August 2021. For a list of all positions available, key dates, and the nominations process, visit the Student Elections webpage.

A Zoom information session will be held by the Returning Officer on Wednesday 11 August 2021 for students interested in receiving further information about the elections process, the governing bodies, and responsibilities of student representatives. Contact to attend.

Need help writing a research article or literature review?

The Learning Centre provides free workshops for these topics and more – check out the full Winter Program workshop schedule.

Writing a research article: This workshop is designed to help Masters by Research and doctoral students to successfully write a research article for publication in health, education, or the social sciences. You can bring a draft of an article you are working on.

Focus on: Writing a Literature Review: This workshop is aimed at equipping students with strategies to write more critically and analytically. You will also receive tips on structuring your review, synthesising and evaluating the literature.
