Wanted: postgrad student representatives

SUPRA student representatives make sure postgrad voices are heard on key University committees, where policy and student matters are decided. This semester SUPRA has vacant spots for students on Academic Board (1 postgrad coursework student), University Executive Research Committee (1 HDR student), and Student Life Committee (1 HDR student).

Committee meetings are held online during business hours and all student representatives are provided training and support by SUPRA Council and staff. To ensure a diversity of representation, domestic and international students are encouraged to apply. If you are interested contact Minran Liu at president@supra.usyd.edu.au for information, including committee meeting times and how to apply.

Goodbye eGrad

It's time to say goodbye to eGrad. From next week the name of our weekly newsletter will be returning to its punny roots – Grad Post. 

For the past 2 decades, eGrad’s name has proudly declared that it’s delivered by email, on the World Wide Web. And while that was cutting edge at the turn of the millennium, it probably goes without saying these days. 

So don’t be confused when you get your Grad Post email next week – it’s just the next step in the continual evolution of one of Australia’s oldest postgrad newsletters.
