You are warmly invited to this celebration of our City & Guilds Basketry and Printmaking students’ achievements this year. If you are considering enrolling on any of these courses from October, this will be a perfect opportunity to meet the tutors and some of the students who have completed their courses this year. Additionally, we are excited to be holding a sale of donated craft items to launch our new bursary fund. We are very keen that Westhope College should remain accessible to anyone who would enjoy a workshop in these beautiful, peaceful surroundings and this fund will help us to achieve that. We hope you will join us on 8th July.

We were delighted to welcome Public Service Artists at the end of May for their week’s residential art holiday. They drew inspiration from the local landscape (one local to their own area!) and this is a selection of the lovely work they produced. We are already looking forward to seeing them again next year. Do contact us if your group would enjoy a residential break in this creative space in the beautiful Shropshire Hills AONB. We can offer ten bedrooms, a variety of classrooms to suit all requirements and a warm welcome.

We have just three places left on the recently launched City & Guilds Level 2 Basketry course that starts in October. Email Eileen@westhope.org.uk for a course information pack.
