We have a few places available on City & Guilds Level 2 Printmaking and City & Guilds Level 3 Basketry Diploma courses that start in October.
If you are interested in printmaking, our course will give you the skills to become an accomplished printmaker whilst working towards a qualification.  Join us for a weekend each month between between October and June to immerse yourself in your printmaking with like-minded students and the tutor, Jacqui Dodds.  The course is suitable for both beginners and more experienced students who wish to broaden their knowledge and develop their skills.  There are no entry requirements.

If you are interested in basketmaking and already have some skills and experience, you might be interested in the City & Guilds Level 3 Basketry Diploma (exclusive to Westhope College). This is a small group, progressive basketry course which teaches a wide range of basketry techniques (traditional and innovative) on two days each month over two years.  It will enable you to become a well-informed basketmaker able to research and sample ideas and create well-designed baskets to a very high standard.  This is an internationally recognised qualification which will give you the skills to progress into employment in the basketry industry or to develop your own small business.  The course tutor is Clare Revera.  Clare has been featuring the fabulous work of this year’s Diploma students in her Instagram stories this week and these are available to browse in Highlights @Welshbaskets.
