The Alpharetta Church will make a difference again this year in reaching out and helping those less fortunate, and we are happy to have three worthy families to adopt this Christmas! Their names, sex, age, size and request are hanging on the trees in the foyer. We are accepting wrapped Christmas gifts or gift cards—Kroger, Walmart, Target, or Publix will be most helpful. Please attach the tag from the tree to each package so we know where it will need to be delivered. If you are unable to purchase the items, or if you are out of town and wish to help, you can mark your tithe envelope “Community Services.” The cut-off date is tomorrow, December 21. Please see Barbara Ratterree if you have any questions.
Please join us for our annual Christmas Concert tomorrow, December 21, during our 11 am worship service. The concert will feature invited guests, as well as musical talent from our church. We ask that church members ride share so we will have enough parking spaces this year. This is a perfect program to invite friends, neighbors and family as we come together to commemorate the birth or our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We hope everyone can stay for a special potluck following the concert! We're asking everyone to please bring extra food as we have a lot of musical guests that need to be fed--main dishes and desserts! Hope to see you there for this sure-to-be, praise worthy, glorious, high Sabbath!
If you have been asked by the Nominating Committee to lead a Sabbath School, are currently serving in a supportive role, or are simply interested in making a difference for the Kingdom, please join us for Sabbath School Training Day January 4, 2020. We know that some of you will be away that Sabbath; however, it is our hope that we will have representation of each class there and the info learned can be shared. This will be a great day of training and a perfect way to begin the year. We all want to be more effective in our work for the kingdom and training is key to growth. Let's never adopt that attitude that we know enough already. Let's always be open to new ideas and new ways of doing what we do.

So please, if you are in town that Sabbath, be in attendance for this special day. Lunch will be served and we assure you that your time could not be better spent. Make our day an item of your prayers!
NEW FOR 2020
Beginning January 18, we will be launching Sabbath Evening Vespers each week at the Alpharetta Adventist Church! The Vespers will begin at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary, and there will be a reading and interactive discussion of the book Ministry of Healing by Ellen G. White. More information coming soon. Please contact Marjorie Ranglin if you have an ideas for Vespers.
