A MOMENT WITH PASTOR LUKE
Hey Church! I hope you have had a wonderful week filled with the presence of Jesus! I am thankful for the moments of reflection and prayer I was able to have while quarantined. Slowing down is not my strong suit as I just want to go-go-go all the time, but God tends to have a good way of forcing me to sit and pause, so I am thankful.
I am also thankful because brother Gary brought a word from the heart of God last Sabbath, and I am still pondering the depths of it. I am incredibly thankful for brother Gary and his commitment to following and serving Jesus in our church. We have a great church, and I know that God is going to continue to help us get through this year and the coming years.
I am also PUMPED for our Christmas Vespers Concert tomorrow evening! The necessary postponement was unfortunate as we have lost a few performers due to conflicting schedules; however, it will still be inspiring and beautiful as there is nothing like a church coming together during the holidays to hear our members minister to our hearts through the gift of music. I am excited and praying for everyone participating!
And finally, I am thankful and eager for the opportunity to fellowship with my church–whether that is online with you, or in person this Sabbath. One of the many gifts from the gospel is fellowship within a local church. I know of many individuals that want community, and I am thankful for my amazing community that is my church!
I pray that no matter what your week was like, that now as Sabbath has come, you can rest in His complete love and perfect salvation of you.
Happy Sabbath Church!
