Pumpkins and Hayride fun! Come out and join us at Burt’s Farm Sunday, October 13, at 10 am. We will meet in the Hayride area and ride the hayride together. This is a very large Pumpkin farm with pumpkins of every size and variety! They also have pumpkin desserts and treats to purchase. Admission is free and the hayride is $6. Visit the website for more information:

After Burt’s Farm, a group of us are planning to continue up the road a bit to Reece Orchards in Ellijay. This is an apple orchard, petting zoo, bakery and allows U-picking! This weekend there will be 6 different varieties of apples for you to pick from if you’d like to. Of course, already picked & tree-ripened apples are available for purchase. Admission is $5 and includes the wagon ride, pig races, giant slide and cow milking! Visit the website for more information:

Please text Jonnice Grentz with any questions at 770-330-8656.

Annual Bonfire Roast, October 26, 6 pm.

THIS YEAR THE EVENT WILL BE HELD AT OUR NEW CHURCH! We’ll start with vespers and have so much fun as we fellowship together throughout the evening! There will be fire pits, music, all the ingredients for Smore’s, lots of drinks, chips, and hotdog buns. Bring your own favorite hot dogs and roasting sticks for smores and hotdogs. There will be plenty of seating inside, but bring chairs if you’d like to sit outside. Feel free to bring a side or dessert, if you’d like. This will be happening outside around the playground, so the kiddos can run and have fun outside, too. This is always a favorite event here at the Alpharetta Church!
