A Big Welcome (soon - but not yet!) to the Rev. Peter Sipple
Hi parishioners - As I mentioned at last Sunday's service, I'm very happy to say we have someone to take the reins during my maternity leave! We are fortunate that Peter was available. He has lots of experience, lives nearby in the Hudson Valley, and is just a great fit for our parish. You'll be in good hands!
If - IF! - all goes as planned, Peter and I will serve together at the Easter Vigil and possibly Easter Sunday, and he will take over fully on April 12. Below is a quick bio.
The Rev. Peter Sipple lives in Cornwall-on-Hudson with his wife Margaret and their cat Max. The Sipples moved from Bryn Mawr, PA, six years ago following Peter’s retirement as rector of the Church of the Redeemer. He has served as interim in two other parishes. Prior to parish ministry, Peter headed Church-related private schools in Oregon, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. He was glad to receive St. Nick’s call to serve during the upcoming interim period and looks forward to meeting the parish.
