NPL Youth Summer Tournament 2012

The 5th NPL Youth Summer Tournament will take place on the weekend of Saturday 9th June 2012 and Sunday 10th June 2012. Registration for entry will open in early January 2012 so look out for the email. We were full in many age groups very early last year so we advise early registration.

The tournament will take place at NPL Sports Ground and the entry fee will remain at £35 per team.

After listening to your feedback new for 2012 will be:
  • Longer games for Under 11 and above!
  • Online payment!

This year our tournament is bigger than ever! Age groups based on the 2010/11 season.
 
Under 6 (Sat pm)
Under 7 (Sat am)
Under 8 (Sun am)
Under 9 (Sun pm)
Under 10 (Sat am)
Under 11 (Sun am)
Under 12 Boys (Sun pm)
Under 13 Boys (Sat am)
Under 14 Boys (Sat pm)
Under 14 Girls (Sat (pm)
Under 15 Boys (Sun pm)
Under 16 Boys (Sun am)
Under 17 Boys (Sat pm)



We will also be running a plate competition for the older age groups (under 11s and above, this will depend on the number of entries)

How to Enter? 
 
Everything you need to enter our summer tournament is available on our website - www.nplfootball.co.uk

You can enter in two different ways:
  1. Online entry - simply complete the forms online and then send us your entry payment
  2. Paper entry - simply download the tournament entry forms, complete them and then send them to us with your payment

Community Charter Standard Status
 
We are proud that NPL Youth have been awarded Community Charter Standard Status.

Charter Standard Community Club status is the highest status possible for grassroots football clubs to achieve under the Charter Standard scheme. Community club status is the pinnacle of the club development pathway, and identifies those clubs that possess a high quality, multi-team set up with excellent social, training and playing opportunities for all. 

 
Squad Sizes

Below are the allowed squad sizes for this year's tournament:

Under 6, 7 and 8 age groups will be non competitive and 7-a-side with a maximum of 9 players in a squad. All players will receive a medal.

Under 9 to 13 will be 6-a-side with a maximum of 9 players in a squad.

Under 14 and above will be 5-a-side with a maximum of 8 players in squad.
