Speaker: Andrew Greene, ABC Defence Correspondent
Subject: Sir Hermann Black Lecture - The Year in Review

Andrew has been a business writer, political reporter and since 2015, defence correspondent for the ABC. He has reported from Afghanistan, Iraq, the United States and Europe, as well as assignments across Australia.
Andrew’s presentation will cover many of the significant issues that have influenced the debate on the defence of Australia and our security in 2019, including the Chinese influence in the South-West Pacific, the importance of the Strait of Hormuz on global fuel supplies; our Defence policy post the Federal election; the unrest in Hong Kong; and the impact of Trump’s unpredictability.

Lectures are open to any interested person
RUSI NSW Lectures commence at 1.00 pm - 2.00 pm

RUSI NSW Members $10.00; Non-members $15.00.  
Payment will be collected at the lecture.  Pre-event registration is not required.  

Sandwiches served: 12.00 noon

(cost $8.00 to be paid on the day) must be pre-ordered by calling 8262 2922
Sandwich orders must be provided no later than 
2pm on the Monday prior to the lecture. 

You can also bring your own lunch and eat it (between 12 noon and 1pm), in the auditorium where tea and coffee are provided.
