The W2O Welcomes Dr. Wendy Watson-Wright
to the Advisory Board
Dr. Wendy Watson-Wright was the inaugural CEO of the Ocean Frontier Institute (OFI), an Atlantic Canadian-led transdisciplinary international research institute whose aim is the safe and sustainable development of the ocean frontier. From 2010 to 2015, Dr. Watson-Wright served as the Executive Secretary and Assistant Director General of UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC-UNESCO) in Paris. For most of her career, she held various senior positions within Fisheries and Oceans Canada, including eight years as Assistant Deputy Minister of Science. The W2O is honored to welcome Dr. Watson-Wright to our esteemed Board of Advisors, and we are looking forward to her wise council as we endeavor to share science communications with a broader global audience.

Thanks to private and foundation funds, we are able to offer World Ocean Radio for syndicated use at no cost.
