(mobile users click here)

Dear Citizens of the Ocean,

World Ocean Observatory is pleased to announce the release of World Ocean Journal, Volume 3. This year's edition is all about water, the world's most promising and imperiled natural element. In this issue: we include essays about the ocean and inter-connected cycles of water; we argue for invention; profile modern solutions toward a new hydraulic society; discuss the questions and answers to fundamental questions about water issues; the reality of consequences if we fail to act in time; and ideas for a new relationship built around fresh water and the ocean toward new modes of living that are within our grasp.

IN THIS ISSUE: LAW OF MOTHER EARTH

The rights of the planet. A vision from Bolivia.

IN THIS ISSUE: A CASCADE OF BOOKS ON WATER

In building a list of "fifty favorite books on water," we ask you to make a contribution with your favorite book on fresh water issues. Join the conversation. Use hashtag #booksonwater

IN THIS ISSUE: WATER CONSUMPTION LABELING

IN THIS ISSUE: LAUDATO SI'

And there is so much more. We hope you will enjoy this year's edition of World Ocean Journal. And we appreciate your feedback. Email us at director@thew2o.net with suggestions and comments.
