2018 will be the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust's twentieth anniversary as a charity. Join us in marking this milestone in the months ahead - by holding a fundraising event or by joining our close-knit team of volunteers and fundraisers.

2018 could be your EPT1000 Challenge year

The EPT1000 is a fun and flexible way to raise awareness about ectopic pregnancy while improving your well-being. Cover a distance of 1,000 miles or 1,000km over 12 months in whatever way suits - running, walking, cycling, swimming or a combination - it's up to you! We had around 100 people sign up in the first year. As well as creating fantastic friendship among our fundraisers, each one has been inspirational on their journey posting photos, updates, and blogs along the way. It generates a massive confidence boost and helps create a focus for their path towards recovery. Challenge yourself with the EPT1000

Our Impact in 2017
During Baby Loss Awareness Week we had a huge reach across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with our campaign to highlight ectopic pregnancy and bereavement.

Powerful images created by our talented volunteer, Gemma, were shared and viewed over 120,000 times during the week.
We sent support leaflets to hospitals around the UK for them to distribute to patients who need support and information about ectopic pregnancy. We responded to thousands of requests for support via phone, Skype and email. The EPT website had over a million visits in the last year.

Our supporters raised over £1,500 through easyfundraising. This week 11 - 17 December is Double Donation Week and so by doing your Christmas shopping online with retailers including Amazon, M&S and John Lewis (or even booking next year's holiday with Expedia or Booking.com!), you can help raise even more valuable funds for our charity.

Over 200 amazing fundraisers held EPTea parties and charity nights, walked Ben Nevis, skydived, and ran from 5,000kms to ultra-marathons. You're all hugely inspirational, so we'd like to use this video to say... a huge thank you!

In collaboration with fellow baby loss charities, we attended a productive meeting with the Secretary of State for Health Jeremy Hunt MP to emphasise the need for excellent bereavement care within hospitals at any gestation.

We spoke at national events, including The Association of Early Pregnancy Units conference which had a record turnout reaching over 300 healthcare professionals. This will help improve the quality of care for women undergoing diagnosis and treatment for ectopic pregnancy.
