Tashi Delek!

Because of your interest in Tibet and her people, we thought you might like to know about the upcoming program "Summer Pasture: Tibetan Nomads Negotiate the Crossroads Between Tradition and Modernity" being aired on PBS this coming Thursday, May 10th at 10 pm, on most PBS stations nationwide.

The documentary was produced by Independent Lens:
independentlens/summer-pasture/, and was filmed in the Dzachuka area of Tibet, where the Kilung Foundation works to preserve nomad culture. Through this film, you will experience the beautiful landscape of Dzachuka, the nomads and their animals, and their daily life and challenges.

With warmest regards,
