Savouring. 

The practice of taking in the good, of savouring, is a practice that helps counter your mind's negativity bias (the bias that has negative stuff stuck in your mind like velcro and positive stuff slipping out like teflon).

I found myself reflecting on this practice today as I noticed a new bloom on one of my orchids. I took the time to pause and take in the beauty of this plant and to enrich the experience by noticing what showed up in my body. A sense of awe at this new bloom.

You can try this practice with anything that shows up in your daily life. 

Savouring the good is a way of recharging your nervous system.
