We can further support the body for high quality sleep by supporting the body.  Think of what makes a dog happy?

 

Start with:

  •  Getting movement each day

  • Eating a high quality diet - and not sugar and processed food

  • Reducing snacking and reducing the hours within which you eat (i.e., creating some space between eating and sleep)

  • Keeping hydrated

  • Paying attention to substance use as alcohol, caffeine, cannabis, and other substances all adversely impact sleep

  • Unwinding…
