Dear <<First Name>> <<Last Name>>

This has been a frantic summer. We were busy with network activities, campaign preparations, post-European elections planning and a series of natural and man-made emergencies to react to. And everything seems to indicate that it will be an even more agitated autumn and probably winter. In this newsletter we are already giving you some hints of what will be our main activities for the coming months. We will continue calling for a European socio-economic model based on the common-good and the centrality of the person. We will continue to help people in distress.  We will continue fostering empowerment of the powerless. And we will continue to support all Caritas organisations in Europe to improve their services to the needy.

Did you notice the massive surge of Caritas paper boats from all over Europe in social media last 25-26 Sept?

The movement was triggered by the Young Caritas of Austria, Bolzano (Italy), France, Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland. They showed the way and many "adult" Caritas followed the lead!
