Please join us at noon on Wednesdays in July. We will be highlighting the gifts of our retired clergy with a noon day Eucharist. Afterwards, all are invited to the Parish Hall for a brown bag lunch. Because of Covid, many of our clergy haven't had the chance to celebrate the Eucharist in a long time. We are delighted to welcome them back.

Compassion Camp was amazing!  It made my heart happy to plan this event with such special people! Hearing that I made magic for their kids, that it was the best day of their life or that they want to join our St. John's Episcopal Church is why I teach. This is why I love my job, I love kids, their families and guiding them toward connections with God and each other. Compassion Camp by Illustrated Ministry made this easier! Being outside and reconnecting was perfect. You know it was amazing when two days in a row ta three year old moaned, “ i miss church, I want to go back!” All the way home from the event. Thanks to all who attended, supported and invested in this family retreat!  You can click on the link for St. John's above and check out the pictures!

During the month of June St. John’s will be helping Safe Harbour’s ministry to Carlisle’s homeless. Just down the street at the corner of Pitt and High Streets every night 65 children, women and men are given food and a roof over their heads. We can help by providing supplies. In next three weeks, if you want to help please bring personal items such as body wash, sunscreen and sunburn ointment on the 13th, linens and towels/washcloths (new or lightly used) for twin and double beds on the 20th and finally non-perishable food on the 27th. Please consider helping our homeless, thank you.

Please support St. John's by purchasing Giant Gift Cards. 5% of the proceeds go directly to the mission of our church. You may purchase the gift cards at coffee hour or doing the church office hours.
