Bishops from across The Episcopal Church have gathered, via the internet, to discuss public worship during the COVID-19 pandemic. The take home point from Bishop Scanlan is that public worship or gatherings is suspended until our Governor declares that it is safe to gather again, and the Bishop expects that the time for us will be in late May.
As you know we are a great community of faith, and we will be keeping contact with each other through prayer and conversations over the telephone and via the internet. On Thursday, in this week's The Spire, I will include a listing of the offerings of prayer, sermons, Sunday school lessons, in which you can participate via our web page. (www.stjohnscarlisle.org)
