Returning to Tanzania!
Update has been the key word as I have been in America for the past 5 months. It has been a whirlwind. However, traveling to share the fantastic things that are happening in Tanzania with supporting churches and donors has been wonderful. It's a special time to watch as people here in the States come to understand the impact their prayer, support, and donations are having in Tanzania.
While here, I traveled to 8 States, altogether I made over 60 presentations - in churches, living rooms, a drive in a car, restaurants, and small groups.
I want to say a special thank you to my sending church, Grace Baptist and Pastor Jerry and his wife, Char, our Missions Leadership Team, and my Missions Care Group led by Jill Brown. You guys have gone above and beyond. You have sought every way to make this time in the States to be beneficial and enjoyable. I am blessed to call you my church.
I also want to say thank you to all the many people and churches here in the US who housed me, fed me, helped me set up, helped with logistics, drove me places, and so many other ways you've helped - too many to mention here. Thank you!
I am leaving feeling thankful and blessed for this time in the States. It has been refreshing seeing so many people I know and love and exciting to meet new people along the way.
The time has flown by and I'm looking forward to getting back to Tanzania! God is and has been working there and I'm excited to see what's in store for this next term. I'll be looking forward to giving you all an update after I get on the ground and settled back in Tanzania!
With much love,
