Highly Respected Technical Manager Joins Western Branch Diesel

Billy Lambe to spearhead marine and C&I power business development in North Carolina

Portsmouth, Virginia – (August 27, 2013) – Western Branch Diesel is excited to announce that Billy Lambe has joined Western Branch Diesel’s team in the capacity of Technical Manager, Marine, Construction & Industrial (C&I), for North Carolina. Billy will support WBD’s efforts to grow its sales and service business in the North Carolina territory the company assumed last year from Clarke Power Services (formerly Covington Power Services). Centrally located in the Greensboro area to serve both marine and C&I business segments, Billy will primarily work out of WBD’s Beaufort branch at the Jarrett Bay Marine Industrial Park, and within the coastal marine community to help the branch grow. 

Billy joined Covington DDA immediately after his graduation from Nashville Diesel College and has amassed more than 30 years experience and knowledge with Detroit Diesel and MTU products and applications. Over the course of his career with Covington, he worked in many different areas of the business including service, engineering, branch management, and marine and C&I applications engineering.
