"Laughter yoga is a laughing technique that requires us to laugh for absolutely no reason. No jokes and no yoga poses. The best way to describe this is if you think of a laughing workshop where you are encouraged to spark laughter from within." - Maude Bombardier, Founder of The Laughing Hour

Join Caregivers Alberta in partnership with Covenant Health, on September 10th, from 9:00am – 11:00am for Ask the Experts, a presentation by the world renowned research team behind two caregiver and patient interventions (CSNAT and SNAP). A panel Q&A and meet & greet featuring Dr. Gail Ewing, Professor Gunn Grande, and Dr. Morag Farquhar along with local caregiver experts will follow the presentation.

This is a great opportunity for you to not only learn about their research in the caregiving field, but to also participate in an engaging Q&A and meet with other caregivers, community partners, and experts. Refreshments will be provided!

We are looking for current caregivers of persons living with dementia, who are comfortable using computers and smart phones, to help test a new technology tool that will help caregivers manage busy days, promote self-care, and offer better support to those living with dementia.

If you’re interested in participating, please respond to Johnna Lowther, our program manager at: or phone direct 587-415-8999
