Lorenzo Natali Media Prize 2015

In December, the European Commission will once again award journalists for their outstanding reporting on development and poverty eradication.
The GFMD is partnering with the European Commission to promote the Prize
and as the jury members.

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs strategy on media assistance

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development has set out three priorities regarding cooperation with foreign media: contribute to the consolidation of rule of law, specifically via the promotion of freedom of expression, the principle of broadcasting trustworthy and balanced information as well as cultural diversity, support a permanent structure in the media sector, and develop local production capacity.

Job at GFMD: Executive Director

The GFMD is hiring an Executive Director to reinforcing its Brussels-based team.
Under the supervision of GFMD Steering Committee, the Executive Director leads a small Secretariat to develop and structure the GFMD as a global network of media development organizations with a reputation for quality, innovation and influence.


As the range of our services and products becomes more complex and varied so
does our organisational structure. Over the years Sourcefabric has grown and diversified to
be able to respond to constantly changing industry needs.
