What's the SEAPA: 

The Southeast Asian region faces common issues across several countries. Press freedom restrictions and a trend toward controlling freedom of expression through laws and criminalisation of speech are present in most countries. Impunity for violence against journalists also plague five countries (Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines and Thailand).

CPJ to release annual list of journalists imprisoned worldwide

The census catalogs journalists imprisoned as of midnight on December 1, 2015 and indicates the country where held, charge, and medium of work for each imprisoned journalist. It does not include the many journalists who were imprisoned during the year but released prior to December 1. CPJ published its first prison census in 1990.

OSCE Representative presents report on propaganda and media freedom

The destructive powers of propaganda and its root causes must be eliminated, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatović said today when presenting a non-paper on propaganda and media freedom together with her assessment of the media freedom developments in the OSCE region in the past six months.

The SKeyes Centre
: Media Coverage of LGBT Issues and Security Sector institutions in Lebanon

The SKeyes Center for Media and Cultural Freedom released two recent media monitoring reports. The first one tackles Media Coverage of LGBT Issues in Lebanon, and the second Media Coverage of Security Sector Institutions. Both reports were authored by the Maharat Foundation, as part of a European Union funded, joint SKeyes-Maharat project to build the capacity of Lebanese journalists to cover sensitive topics.
