This Week's Local Programming Highlights ...
Divided Sky Foundation Fun Run Here's our coverage of last weekend's run in Ludlow to benefit Divided Sky Foundation & Turning Point Recovery Center. The Divided Sky Foundation was founded by Trey Anastasio (of the band Phish) as a Ludlow-based treatment center for those suffering from alcoholism and addiction. Rebekah from our staff, along with 2 volunteers (Noah Schmidt & Pat Moore) teamed up to provide the coverage.
Mental Health Awareness
May is Mental Health Awareness month, and Paula VanGuilder of Ludlow is back in the studio to provide a new citizen commentary / public service announcement - watch that HERE.
And mental health is also the topic for this month's "Let's Talk" health education series from VNH. Check that out here.
ESBR Students "We Are Nature"
We have 2 programs to share from the Expeditionary School at Black River (EBSR). In the 1st, Board members Gary Blodgett & Pat Pullinen are joined in the studio by students Damian & Lorien, who talk about their experience at the school and producing & performing in their own play "We Are Nature". Watch it HERE. Thanks to Kyle Kennedy & Noah Schmidt for recording the play, for us to share with you HERE.
Yoga with Liza
Liza Eaton of Buddhaful Yoga in Chester leads us through a virtual session of Kundalini Yoga for an open heart and a strong magnetic field. This session was filmed earlier in the year and is an aura booster!
This week, as a bonus episode, we also have Liza's session on "Vitality, Revitalization & Purification".
We recently recorded the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation presentation of the Basin 10 "Kick Off" Meetings for both the Ottauquechee & Black Rivers. VIEW THEM HERE.
Another special meeting we have to present this week is the Annual Meeting of the Cavendish Fire District #2. We are televising that this week in our State / Local Gov. programming timeslots. You can also watch it HERE. Thanks to Maya Lindberg for volunteering to provide the coverage from this meeting!
