Concrete Canvas is increasingly being used by the Design community in innovative new ways to create sculptures, furniture and art installations, many of which have been featured by publications and exhibitions around the world.
Concrete Canvas is a cement impregnated fabric that hardens after hydration to form a thin, durable, water and fire proof concrete layer. Although originally designed for the construction industry it has huge potential for use in design-led projects.
A selection of projects from the last year is featured below. They range from innovatively-designed concrete furniture, to conceptual sculpture and art installations created by artists from the UK, Spain, South Africa and beyond. All of them are great demonstrations of the flexibility of Concrete Canvas in creative projects. Click the thumbnails below to see our case study of each project.
