Asia
Petrochem: Bund Lining, Oman
In January 2015, CC was used to line a water lagoon bund at an oil field site in Oman. The bund was subject to periodic severe erosion, when the water lagoon would flood and send water cascading down the sides of the bund. A total of 12,000 sqm of CC was installed at rates of up to 1500sqm/day in difficult conditions with limited site access.
Road: Ditch Lining, South Korea
In April 2015, CC was trialled as  ditch lining next to a highway in Yangyang Gun, South Korea. The trial was conducted by Shin Seung S&C for Korea Expressway Corporation to ascertain whether CC would be faster to install compared to the traditional poured concrete solution. In total, 36sqm of CC5 were installed in just 40 minutes by a team of 4, compared to the 5 days it would have taken to complete the same installation with a poured concrete solution.
Europe
Road: Slope Protection, Portugal
In May 2015, CC was used to protect a slope and remediate a concrete wall located in Porto, Highway A41/IC24, Lanço Freixieiro/Alfena, Portugal. The works were carried out by Mota-Engil and the subcontractor Newinfra, the client was Ascendi. The original sprayed concrete installation had suffered from severe erosion which caused debris to fall onto the road, posing a risk to the highway traffic. In total 130sqm of CC5 were installed in just 6 hours by a team of 4, despite rain and a difficult to access site.
Road: Ditch Lining,  UK
In February 2015, CC was used to line a ditch located next to the M6 in Great Saredon, Wolverhampton, UK. The 130m x 4m ditch posed a flooding risk to the nearby motorway due to vegetation growth and erosion interfering with flow rates and causing blockages. Install speeds reached over 60sqm an hour, on a difficult to access site with poor ground conditions and heavy rainfall
Road: Ditch Lining,  UK
In November 2014, CC was used to line a ditch located next to the M6 motorway in Shap, UK. Heavy rainfall had caused the drainage channel to erode and lose integrity, posing a risk to the nearby motorway. 2400sqm of CC8 were installed in 4 weeks by 4 people during heavy rainfall and storms
Rail: Slope Protection, Spain
CC was used to protect a slope located in Pozuelo Oeste Station, Pozuelo, de Alarcón, Madrid, Spain. The client was Metro Ligero Oeste. Rainwater runoff was infiltrating the slope and risking slip, posing a severe threat to the railway line at the slope’s base. In total, 600sqm of CC5 were installed by 5 people in just 4 days, with daytime temperatures averaging 35 degrees Celsius.
Rail: Slope Protection, Spain
CC was used to protect a slope located near Camp Tarragona station, Tarragona, Spain. The slope had previously been lined with Trinter, a synthetic geomat, however this had been unsuccessful in preventing erosion and an alternative was sought. In total, 1000sqm of CC5 were installed by 5 people in 3 days on a difficult to access slope.
Rail: Slope Protection, Spain
CC was used to line a slope in Collado, Madrid, Spain. Rainwater runoff was infiltrating the slope and risking slip, posing a threat to the nearby trackway. 1000sqm of CC5 were installed in 4 days by 5 people, in high temperatures and on a difficult to access site.
Oceania
Petrochem: Bund Lining, Australia
In May 2015, CC was used to line a bund at a remote tank storage facility in Cook, Cooper Basin, South West Queensland, Australia, owned and run by Santos. The existing bund had been affected by erosion which compromised the integrity of the bund. In total, 1600sqm of CC5 was installed in just 5 days by 3 people.
Petrochem: Bund Lining, Australia
In May 2015, CC was used to line a series of bunds at the Ungani oil field, located in the onshore Canning Superbasin, approximately 150 kilometres east of Broome, Western Australia. The existing bund was subject to weathering erosion causing it to lose integrity and fail to maintain the minimum height required. In total, 1000sqm of CC5 was installed in just 2 days by 3 people, instead of the 5 allowed for the install.
