Cup of Kindness Volunteer Program


blue mug with steam risingOn April 5, 6:00-8:00 PM, spread kindness throughout our community by participating in a number of service opportunities at the library's Cup of Kindness program. We have ways for people of all ages and means to help out others including the Foster Closet of Michigan, C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, the Michigan Humane Society and Humane Society of Huron Valley. Drop in and enjoy a cup of tea while you make a difference in a way that’s meaningful for you.

Canton Book Project Reception

Celebrate our community's love of reading and the joy of sharing a good book by attending the Canton Book Project reception on April 10, 7:00-8:00 PM. We'll unveil the 2018 Book Project titles and introduce our book givers to the community. Light refreshments will be served.

Celebrate Children's Book Week

Come dressed as your favorite children's book character and take your picture with Thorndyke, our library bear. Or stop by our Children's Desk to pick up additional activities based on this year's theme, One World, Many Stories.
