Thank You to CYS Partners

The Canton Public Library has concluded another successful summer program. Patrons read books, completed activities, enjoyed programs and had a summer full of great experiences and we’d like to thank our community for making this summer so much fun.

Several community partners were instrumental in providing the means to present this program. Our thanks go to

Library Card Sign-up Month

Joe CoolToday’s libraries are about more than books. They are creative educational spaces for learners from birth to high school and beyond. September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the Canton Public Library joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to make sure that every student has the most import school supply of all – a free library card.  We encourage all members of your household to have his or her own card;  anyone that owns property, works or attends school in Canton is eligible. Use this link to apply online and get the process started.

Friends of the Library Fundraiser

Our hard-working supporters, the Friends of the Canton Public Library, are holding a fundraising event at Menchie's on September 7. Print or show the electronic version of the attached flyer and they'll get 20% of the proceeds when you visit Menchie's from 11:00 AM-10:00 PM that day.
