With 25m users in the UK, LinkedIn is the BEST place to connect digitally with business owners, professionals and senior decision makers. It’s the perfect platform for finding clients and growing your business - but it can be tricky and overwhelming if you don’t know the best way to use it.
Siân will share some easily-actionable tips and provide insight into their proven strategy for growing a digital network the best way - finding and connecting with the right people, so you can make game-changing professional connections, start attracting good leads and even attract new customers.

The Marketing Architect is a virtual marketing team for service-based businesses. It’s our mission to make marketing easier – easier to understand, and easier to do. As one half of the Marketing Architect team, Siân is a professionally qualified social media manager and marketer with (well!) over 20 years of marketing experience behind her. She has worked with agencies and businesses both large and small to develop marketing, content and social media strategies that deliver engaged communities, build relationships with influencers, drive web traffic and top up sales pipelines.

2. Clare Griffiths - digitally connecting female founders

Setting up The Thrive Effect to support, inspire and champion female founders has not been without its challenges, but it has been a hugely rewarding journey and one that continues to go from strength to strength. Clare will talk about the reason she founded The Thrive Effect, the impact it has had and how her online platform is connecting female founders digitally. Clare is an award-winning university educator specialising in entrepreneurship education and is the founder of The Thrive Effect, a purpose-led membership organisation in Sussex which creates practical learning resources, networking opportunities and events for female founders.

Steve has over 20 years' experience working with top brands such as Apple, Gillette, American Express and Telefónica. He honed his skills working with agencies Ogilvy & Mather, Concept and Random Media before starting his digital design agency, Jumpstart in 2002.

Leon Neville - How you can connect with audiences to deepen your understanding of them and hopefully increase the chances of success for your business

Audiences are increasingly fragmented and harder to reach especially when marketing to those who are digitally savvy, mobile first and living an on-demand lifestyle. With these challenges front of mind, businesses that invest time or resource into deepening the understanding of their audience and increase the knowledge of their marketplace will increase their chances of future success. Leon, founder of All Ears Group, will share thoughts and practical tips on how you can connect with or work with audiences to deepen understanding and inform your own or your clients' business strategy.

Leon has spent an entire career in market research starting and training on the agency-side and then moving client-side. He spent a decade at Universal Music leading audience insights teams there and prior to that, 5 years in TV Broadcasting & Film/TV distribution including 3 years at Walt Disney International Television.
