Get yourself comfy, we have a lot of news

Hi all,

The last few weeks have probably been the busiest ever for WorthingDigital planning. We have a lot of great events coming your way. In my last mail I announced the event we're running in October as part of Brighton Digital Festival, more details on that below. We have two other talks to tell you about and a new venue for our socials.

But first, a massive thank you to our friends at Shake It Up Creative for our new WorthingDigital logo. It was well overdue a freshen up and I think you'll agree it looks great. Meg & Rachel run regular drop in sessions where you can get help & advice on marketing your business.

The End of Digital with Tom Cheesewright

"Technology is anything invented after you were born," said the computer scientist, Alan Kay. By this measure, much of our digital world will just be 'stuff' for the coming generations, blending into the background, as innocuous as a wheel or a table. But as digital technology disappears from view it is changing our world, our work, and the very nature of what it means to be human. How will we live and work in a future where the lines between physical and digital have been erased? Where we exist as much outside our biology as inside it?
On October the 4th join us at Worthing's iconic Dome Cinema and get a glimpse of what might be in this talk from Applied Futurist, Tom Cheesewright.

Thanks to our sponsors: Capgemini,,, Intelligent Lime and natively digital for making this event possible

Mark from WorthingDigital sat down and had a chat with Tom ahead of his talk on October the 4th. We recorded this as an interview which will be published in Here & Now Magazine

Introduction to Product Management with James Mayes

13th November. James is CEO of Mind the Product, the world's largest product community with over 150,000 members.

He'll give us an introduction to Product (not Project!) management - one of the fastest growing specialisations in tech.

Remember, socials have now moved to the start of the month. There is no separate social in October as The End of Digital falls on the day we'd normally hold one. There will be chance to socialise at the Dome.
  • Thursday November 1st We'll be in Finch, 27 Warwick Street for a relaxed chat about anything digital. Come and join us.

All the best,
