Moocat Makers Crafty Club for boys and girls
Saturday 5 April 10am - 12noonRailway Pub
With Easter round the corner we will be making Easter finger puppets at The Railway Pub! Join Moocat Makers next Saturday 5 April for our finger puppet workshop. Meet Molly the Easter Monkey, Cheeky Chick, Laura the Lamb, Brian the Bunny, and Patrick the famous easter piglet! Take a peek at our facebook page for pictures from our previous workshops.
Moocat Makers workshops are suitable for boys and girls age 6 years and upwards. Younger ages are very welcome with an adult to help. Younger children will enjoy working with simple shapes and bold colours, older children and those with more experience in sewing can learn about cutting out patterns, making puppets and designing their own creatures. Children will learn basic sewing stitches and will be able to experiment with colour and shapes, choosing their own embellishments from our treasure trove of trims and buttons.
Workshops are from 10:00am until 12noon. You can drop in from 10am, and stay as long as you want until midday. Please allow around an hour to complete your creatures at a leisurely pace! Please email Gillian@craftypint.co.uk to book a place.
We meet at The Railway Pub, on the corner of Greyhound Road opposite Streatham Common rail station. If the front door of the pub is closed, please use the tea room entrance round the corner on Ellison Road.
Workshops are £8 per child, payable cash on the day. The price includes all materials, demonstrations, take home templates and one-to-one help. Refreshments will be available from the Wren Sisters' Railway tea rooms, serving brunch and some of the finest homemade cakes in Streatham!
